Julie has always had an appreciation for distressed surfaces and classic sensibilities. The Fancy Collection combines Julie's knowledge of trends, her love for authentic patinas, and a twist of wit. Smashed together, the result is ... well, FANCY.

YESTERDAY WAS RICH

Julie spent most of her career on the commercial side of creative developing brands, websites, and catalogs for national retailers. She ultimately found her niche with luxury and fashion brands, as well as home and hospitality decor companies. She has often been sought out for her knowledge of fashion and decor market trends as well as pop culture. She has owned and managed Atlanta creative and photography agencies and still partners with commercial clients via her creative agency, also called Fancy. Julie's attachment to sophisticated design is where Fancy gets its name.

In the spring of 2020, Julie launched FancyThe Collection.com, a mix of trend-forward art pieces she considers a mashup of fine art and decorative art. Julie has already won awards for her work and has been curated into gallery and museum exhibitions.
